Welcome to the Department of Defense (DoD) Bird Conservation Database.

This database was created to document, consolidate, and disseminate all known bird conservation efforts on or involving military lands and civil works projects, and make that information available as a resource for planners, land managers and other professionals involved in bird conservation.

If you or your organization have been, or are currently involved with bird conservation on military lands, please click on "Add Project" from the menu on the left to add your project to the DoD Bird Conservation Database.  The process is fast and easy.

This resource brings together information on bird conservation that would otherwise be unknown, unused or forgotten. It will not be a success unless you take the a few minutes to enter your data.  Conservation of birds and their habitats supports the military mission, and can only succeed with your contribution.

If you have comments or questions about the DoD Bird Conservation Database, contact Gary Crossley at gcrossley@paonline.com. If you are already a data contributor and notice errors in your data listing, please contact us so that appropriate changes can be made.
